Manager- HR & Admin

Job Description:

Role:  

  • Serve as a conduit between employees and JoshiJampala Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (JJEPL) for all HR-related matters.

Engineer in Vendor Development Department

Job Description:

Role: 

  • Delivering subcontracted (S/C) components on time, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards. 
  • Developing new vendors and maintaining strong vendor relationships to enhance supply chain efficiency. 
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project timelines and organizational goals. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure 100% on-time delivery of subcontracted components as per project schedules. 
  • Maintain GRN clearance within 24 hours and ensure timely vendor payments. 
  • Achieve rework/rejection rates of <7% and cost reduction by 10%. 
  • Negotiate costs, improve quality, and reduce rework/rejections. 
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships, including training and site inspections. 
  • Coordinate with QA, Fabrication, Machine Shop, Logistics, and other departments. 
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in Excel. 
  • Address vendor queries and ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or related field. 
  • Experience in vendor management, supply chain operations, and project coordination in manufacturing. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and machining processes. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proven ability to reduce costs, improve quality, and manage rework/rejections. 

Manufacturing Head

Job Description:

Role: 

  • Head of Manufacturing Operations at JoshiJampala Engineering Pvt. Ltd. 
  • Leadership role in overseeing all manufacturing activities and plant operations. 
  • Key decision-maker for strategic planning and resource allocation. 
  • Advocate for safety, quality, and operational excellence. 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Manage daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to standards and policies. 
  • Develop and implement improvements to boost safety, quality, and productivity. 
  • Plan and monitor production schedules and raw material availability. 
  • Optimize resource allocation and asset utilization for maximum efficiency. 
  • Analyse operational data to identify and resolve inefficiencies. 
  • Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and high safety standards. 
  • Track and optimize productivity and performance metrics. 
  • Stay updated on the latest manufacturing best practices and trends.

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as a Plant Head/Manufacturing Head in the mechanical manufacturing sector. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering (Master’s preferred). 
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety, quality, and operational best practices. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies (preferred). 
  • Up to date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Engineer in Design & Development Department

Job Description:

Role: 

  • Design Engineer in the Design & Development department. 
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing, and releasing manufacturing drawings, 3D models, and GADs. 
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure design accuracy, minimize changes, and maintain effective documentation. 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Plan and release manufacturing drawing files in line with the PMO master schedule. 
  2. Develop 3D models for design projects. 
  3. Create General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) for projects, when required. 
  4. Review and approve BOM and 2D drawings prior to file release. 
  5. Approve supplier GADs (e.g., Cylinder, Gear Box). 
  6. Provide training to empower the team with design skills. 
  7. Maintain organized storage of both soft and hard copy design files. 
  8. Gather feedback on drawings and BOM from relevant departments.

Requirement:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Expertise in SolidWorks. 
  • Strong understanding of design principles, 3D modeling, and BOM preparation. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and gather feedback. 
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on reducing design changes and optimizing designs.
